Salary: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.Reputable and well-established General Contractor in San Jose seeks to hire a Construction Controller with strong Yardi skills, Partnership Accounting, and Property Management Accounting experience to join their team. Must be highly motivated and detail-oriented!

Qualified candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial activities related to real estate partnerships, construction projects and managing financial operations across the organization. You will work closely with property managers, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data.

Responsibilities...

Manage financial activities related to construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget.
Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Develop and maintain financial models to analyze project profitability and identify areas for improvement.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Perform monthly financial close activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards.
Manage the organization's partnership accounting and property management accounting processes.
Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Requirements...

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction accounting or related field.
Strong knowledge of Yardi software.
Experience in partnership accounting and property management accounting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
Ability to communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
