In this role, you will report to the Assistant Controller at our San Jose office. This is a full-time permanent position and we are looking to interview candidates this week.Job ResponsibilitiesIn this Position, you will be responsible for accounting and report all Joint Ventures and Intercompany Entities. The candidate will also ensure proper accounting of JV and Intercompany services, licensing, interest charges and all direct costs.Other responsibilities for this position will also include:Attending and/or coordinating meetings between Operations, IT, HR and Finance as needed to facilitate entity setup and requirements gatheringRecording intercompany billingsProcessing periodic distributions or disbursements as needed between entitiesRunning monthly project progress review meetings between Finance and OperationsOversight of monthly financial information that is either prepared by Rosendin Electric Inc., as a sponsor or JV partnerInterfacing with JV partners to access applicable financial dataReviewing/auditing JV partner records and accounting systems as neededSetting up independent accounting systems as needed to track JV financial dataResearching and developing working knowledge of local statutory requirements including sales tax, gross receipts tax, VAT, use tax, payroll taxes and income taxes for each entityActing as point of contact for treasury and insurance needsSome traveling will be requiredJob RequirementsAs a Finance Senior Accountant, we require someone who has the ability to work independently and has strong organizational and presentation skills. We would also like the Finance Senior Accountant to have strong project accounting and general ledger knowledge.Other requirements for the Senior Accountant include:Experience accounting for multi-org, project-centric companyBA/BS Degree or equivalent work experienceKnowledge of Enterprise accounting systemsExtensive knowledge of MS Office Suite, applications including AccessInternational project accounting experience is a plusAt PrideStaff, we provide our Finance Senior Accountants with a competitive benefits package.
