What You'll Do

The Chief of Staff to Cisco's SVP of the Product Management - Cisco Secure, is a key member of the organization's leadership team working hand in hand with the SVP and the Product Leadership team to help shape, guide and implement Cisco's Security strategy. You will work daily Product Leadership to drive, key priorities for the business.

Duties include:

• Partnering with leaders to ensure alignment across the organization on overall strategic goals, standards, OKRs, and critical metrics for each planning cycle.
• Establishing success criteria and measurable outcomes to meet business objectives.
• Leading roadmap planning, reviewing cadences, and enabling the building of product strategies.
• Owning and leading the framework for developing and communicating the product roadmap.
• Scaling product knowledge inside the company.
• Developing and optimizing product process to ensure that product management is consistent and aligned.
• Identifying best-in-industry Product Management practices including insights and analytics, exploration, experimentation, outcome-based product planning and roadmaps, and 'Voice of the Customer' programs.
• Leading cross-functional initiatives that set up the organization for scale, agility and efficacious performance.
• Leading budgeting and finance for the Product org and its leaders, in collaboration with Business Operations and Finance.
• Working closely with Executive Communications.
• Identifying, tracking and prioritizing metrics for the larger organization.
  
  Who You Are
  
  You have a detailed grasp of the InfoSec industry, knowledge of the major players, leading trends, and opportunities within the broader security market. You've held roles in Product Management/Marketing, strategy, or BizDev, demonstrating a track record of understanding of product and growth strategies.
  
  You are hard-working, highly motivated, organized, persistent, and persuasive. You excel at developing positive relationships and can influence broadly (up, down, and across). You can apply structure to ambiguity and help drive toward measurable outcomes and results. You have the courage to voice an alternative point of view when in a room of executives. You are strategic and practical, can filter data to get to the heart of an issue, and present it in an impactful way.
  
  Minimum qualifications:
  
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 15 years of experience in management, corporate strategy, and/or strategy and planning
  • At least 5 years of experience working in the information security industry
  • Validated experience having responsibility for the management of enterprise budgets and organizational headcount
  • Validated expertise in Product Management, Product Marketing, or Business Development
    
    Preferred qualifications:
    
    • Validated, consistent record of building and nurturing relationships at all levels within an organization, including C-suite/ EVP/SVP level.
    • Ability to drive consensus and influence outcomes
    • Advanced degree preferred
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
