seeking a hands-on Senior Accounting Manager, to undertake all
aspects of accounting management, including corporate accounting,
regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast support, as
well as development and maintenance of internal control policies
and procedures. Responsibilities Manage a small team of staff
accountants; this includes playing a key role in developing the
accounting team and department strategic initiatives Manage all
accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost
Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition Lead
process improvement initiatives to gain efficiencies to reduce
close timeline and improve internal controls; this also includes
documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain
and strengthen internal controls Direct involvement in the
preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and report
variances Manage the month-end, quarter end, and year-end close
processes including preparing and reviewing journal entries and
supporting reconciliations Prepare and publish timely monthly
financial statements Work closely with internal/external auditors
for the review and audit of the company's quarterly and annual
financial statements and disclosures Research and resolve technical
accounting issues for compliance Ensure quality control over
financial transactions and financial reporting Manage compliance
with government reporting requirements and support tax filings
Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Requires a
bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or CMA preferred Must have at
least 7 years of related work experience in accounting and finance
Requires minimum 5 years of management experience Demonstrated
knowledge of accounting principles and procedures in addition to US
GAAP & SOX Experience developing financial statements and building
financial models Experience with general ledger functions and the
month-end/year end close process Exceptional analytical,
organizational, and communication skills Proven proficiency with
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); must be highly
proficient in Excel Epicor ERP experience a plus All candidates
